Yes. It's a harmless vapour designed for leak testing.
Do you smoke test before a remap?
Yes, a boost and vacuum leak test is part of our health check.
Can you do this at my home?
No. This is done at our workshop at Mallory Park, where we have the full equipment. Our mobile service, ECU Solutions, covers Stage 1 and Stage 2 remaps, gearbox remaps and AdBlue / NOx sensor repairs.
