How long does it take?
Most van, motorhome and 4x4 remaps take about 40 minutes while you wait in reception. If your vehicle needs longer, we'll tell you when we quote.
Do I need to tell my insurer?
Yes. A remap is a modification, so you should tell your insurer before you drive away. Most insurers will cover a remapped vehicle, sometimes for a small extra premium.
Will it affect my warranty?
It can. If your vehicle is still under a manufacturer warranty, the manufacturer may decline claims on engine or drivetrain parts after a remap. Talk to us before you book and we'll explain your options.
Can it be put back to standard?
Yes. We read and save your original file against your registration before we change anything, so the vehicle can be returned to standard whenever you need.
Will it pass its MOT?
Yes. Your vehicle stays road legal and MOT compliant. All emissions equipment stays fitted and working.
What is an eco remap?
An eco remap is our diesel calibration developed for torque, drivability and fuel efficiency together. It isn't a gimmicky separate eco map: the extra low-down torque means less throttle and fewer gear changes, which is where the fuel saving comes from.
